Exciting News
Central Dance Academy dazzled audiences with their spectacular ‘Musical Carousel’ show at John Taylor Free School, Burton upon Trent, on 30th November to 1st December. The performance was a vibrant celebration of musical theatre and film, bringing to life iconic numbers from beloved productions such as The Lion King, Descendants, & Juliet, Moulin Rouge, Rocketman, and Mamma Mia.
Congratulations to 2 of our senior students Emily & Elisa who have both been awarded places in this years English Youth Ballet production of Sleeping Beauty.
Out of hundreds of students both girls were also chosen to dance along with 4 other students for a scholarship award, and although this was awarded to an older student it was a great honour and credit that they were both spotted by the judging panel for their exceptional performance and technique throughout the audition.
Both girls will start rehearsal over this half term for 3 performances at the Regent Theatre in Stoke on 12th & 13th April 24.
Congratulations to Nicole Agnew who has started her BA Honours Degree at Robbie Williams Performing Arts School LMA in Liverpool in September 2023.
